Teenage high school concession stand worker admits to making $3,000 extra by adding on their own fee: 'I overcharged 5,000 people'

This person is clearly an entrepreneur, but they may not have gained their money in the most ethical way. 

Some people just make money with ease. It seems like no matter where they go, they're picking up a side gig or talking to someone who has a quick job for them, earning them $20 or $100 here and there. It's just one of those traits that some people have, and that others spend a lifetime trying to learn.

This person, u/Nymmash, shared that while in high school, they had a concession stand job. While they didn't share the salary, we can infer that it was probably paying minimum wage. In some places, that's either about $7.50-$15 per hour (and back in the day, it could've been even lower, maybe like $3-$5 per hour). That's not going to pay for many college textbooks or fun trips out with friends. This teen decided to charge a tiny bit of extra money… but only to a certain group of people. Go team! 

Up next, this woman invited herself on her sister-in-law's 8-day-long vacation, leading her SIL to think that "We don't need to be around each other 24/7."

    Back in high school I used to work the concession stand. In my school the booth was a little folding table where I would sell water, pop and chips.

    To anyone that was a visiting team I would charge $.25-.50 more on the items they wanted to buy, and I would keep it.

    I ended up making somewhere around $3,000 doing this for my high school career, and no one ever found out because I didn't charge anyone from the home team the same amount.
